Central West vets report for game played at Blayney November 4

Hi everyone,

A good field of 47 players took on the challenge of playing the Blayney golf course and by the look of the scores most players enjoyed themselves playing some very good golf.

All reports indicate that the course was in very good condition and that Ted Dell, and his friends looked after the players with a good morning tea on arrival and lunch at the end of the game

On to results

The winner in A grade was the very consistent David Nicholls from Wentworth with an excellent score of 42 points which was also the best score of any grade. Second was David Zhou from Oberon with 39 points.

The B grade winner was Pater Gray on a count back with Allan Orton with both scoring a very commendable 36 points.

The ladies’ comp winner was Judith Brewer with an excellent 35 points.

The ball sweep went down to 32 points.

Next game of Central West vets will be at Canowindra on Monday November 11

Canowindra is a walk up start so get there between 8:00 and 9:00am to get a game. If you need a cart, you can call David Carman on 02 6344 1342 but do it early, they don't have too many carts to spare
