Central West Vet golfers enjoying lunch after a game of golf at Wellington Golf club
Central West vets golf report for Wellington Monday, January 20
Hi everyone,
We had another very good field of 64 Central West veteran golfers played a round of vets’ golf at Wellington Golf Club.
As we have been accustomed for many years whenever we go to Wellington, we were very cordially welcome on arrival with an excellent selection of treats for morning tea and a very nice lunch at the completion of the game. The golf course was in very good condition.
The best in A grade was a visitor all the way from Nelson Bay golf club with a score of 37 points. Second in A grade was Lindsay Beileiter from Wentworth with 36 points.
In B grade first was a new member to vets’ golf, Tim Dingwall from Wentworth with 37 points. Second was another Wentworth player, Alan Josey with 36 points.
The winner of the ladies’ comp was Lorrae Barker, another new member to vets, with 35 points.
The ball sweep went down to 32 points. No nearest to the pin result were available
Next Central West vets’ game will be at Blayney on Monday, February 3.
Blayney is a walk up start so get there between 8:00 and 9:00 am to get a game.
Good golfing everyone
