On to the golf report.

After the rain on the weekend what a great day we had at Wellington golf club. The course was in very good condition with lots of grass on the fairways which unfortunately provided very little run and the greens were a little on the slow side with straight putting being the order of the day.

The best score of the day belong to Duntry member Adrian Garton, who had an excellent score of 40 points to win B grade. Second in B grade was Tony Gassman from Wentworth with 37 points.

The winner in A grade was David Ryan from Yeoval with 37 points and second was Graeme Walker from Wentworth on a countback from David Nicholls with both scoring 35 points.

Best of the ladies was Suzanne Healy from Wentworth with 34 points.

The ball sweep went down to 31 points. Unfortunately, there were not Nearest to the pin markers put out. The balls were added to the ball sweep.
