Hi everyone,

Please note that the next Central West vets’ game will be at Bathurst on Monday September 23.

Booking for starting times and carts can be made by calling the Proshop on 6331 1379. The preferred time to call is between 3:00 and 5:00pm when they are not too busy.

We have also been advised by the Proshop that bookings can also be made by the My Tournament App. If you already have the App you can book in now.

On to the golf report

Once again mastering the Molong golf course is a “bridge too far” for most of us with only a couple of players out of a good field of 41 players, playing to their handicap or better.

Playing was tough but the very warm welcome on arrival and a nice lunch after the game made up for our shortcomings on the course.

The best player on the day was Ian Crofts from Duntry with a very good score of 38 points. Second was the very consistent Murray Miller from Wentworth with 37 points. A countback was required to determine 3rd place when Fred Gander and Simon Dundon both returned scores of 33 points. Simon walked away with the voucher by the nearest of margins.

The ball sweep went down to 28 points and the nearest o the pin winner was on the 12th was Simon Dundon. No one hit the 9th green off the tee.
