Central West vets enjoying lunch at Oberon Golf Club after the game
Central West vets golf results for game played at Oberon April 7
Hi everyone,
A very big field of 70 Central West vet golfers played a round of golf at the beautiful Oberon golf course. A course where if your golf is giving you a hard time you can always enjoy the day by looking at the wonderful views. Unfortunately, golf was hard going today and most of us were doing a lot of looking at the views.Â
The fairways have plenty of run, but the wind made it hard to keep the ball on the on the short grass. The greens, especially the 6th and the 12th were too fast and almost unplayable which reflected on the scores with only four players in the field playing to their handicap or better.
However, the great hospitality and nice lunch at the end of the round provided by Oberon staff soon let us forget our difficulties on the course.
